Free Pattern Friday — Initials for Embroidery

Posted on July 2, 2016September 26, 2016 by Martha

These unusual initial designs were published in the Reading Eagle in 1911. I think they look like something out of a Dr. Seuss book. Click images to enlarge.

Thank you, Martha. And I just caught up on the Betsy Dean images. Oh, boy, five more rabbits!

I love these! So different from the usual swoopy script monogram. It’ll be fun figuring out ways to use them.

The C & E look the same. Do you have an E?

Haha! You’re so right — the C and E look exactly alike. It’s funny I didn’t notice that as I was cleaning up the images. I made some changes in the original design, so hopefully it looks more like an E now.
