December Apron Giveaway

Posted on December 3, 2014October 25, 2017 by Martha

Today is the six year anniversary of my blog, so it’s fitting that there should be a giveaway. This month I’m offering an apron for those of you who celebrate Christmas. I am very fond of the “apron with an apron” style, and for this hostess apron I used a piece of vintage ornament fabric as the scalloped overskirt and a red dot Michael Miller print for the skirt.

Please let me know in a comment below if you are interested in entering the giveaway. I will use a random number generator to pick a winner on Wednesday, December 10. And finally, a huge thank you to all the commenters who have kept me going these past six years!

Congratulations on 6 years, Martha! That’s many wonderful blog posts!

What a beautiful apron! You were so meticulous with the placement of the ornament motifs and the red-dot fabric is a wonderful touch. It’s just perfect. (You don’t need to put me in the drawing for this since I won one so recently.)

This comment is a long time in coming but thanks for posting your beautiful work. I found your blog a couple of years ago after searching for Rhyme Land and found your quilt. But I found so much more. Your posts were a high light of my day at a soul sucking job. And your aprons are gorgeous. I would love to have one.

You make the most beautiful aprons and this month is mostly in my favorite color (red of any shade) so this time I am submitting an entry. The many vintage things here always remind me of my past, of my mother, grandmothers and their handiwork. Much of it was done from newspaper order patterns.
