Fold-Up Houses — Make Your Own Village, 1934

Posted on May 12, 2014May 12, 2014 by Martha

I just finished cleaning up the rest of these cute fold-up houses illustrated by E. R. Higgins, which were published as a series in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle. There are three additional houses and more information in an earlier post. Click on the houses to enlarge for printing (I used legal sized card stock).

OOOOH these are cute! I am thinking of making some for whenever my husband decides to set up the little train (Christmas maybe?), Congrats Chris for winning the apron! It’s grand I am sure you will love it!
Hugs and have a great day,
    Mickie

Thank you so much for sharing these! I dearly love making paper models, especially house, so these will be a lot of fun. 🙂

Not having legal size cardstock, I rotated the images vertically, and let my graphics program fit them to 8.5 x 11 size cardstock. Two fit neatly on one sheet, and are a nice size comparable to other little houses I’ve made.

A link to the houses were what brought me to your site, but I also love small quilts and vintage fabric, so I’m glad to have found your site.
