Spring Apron Giveaway

Posted on March 23, 2014July 28, 2015 by Martha

To celebrate the beginning of Spring, I am offering this bib apron in a floral print. ย The apron was made from a large vintage Brunschwig & Fils decorator fabric sample, together with a vintage linen embroidered napkin, which I embellished with a bit of running stitch in embroidery floss.ย  I then trimmed the apron with some of my favorite old 100% cotton bias tape.

If you would like to enter to win this apron, please let me know in a comment on this post.ย  I will use a random number generator to select a winner on Friday, March 28, at 6:00 pm PDT.

That’s so pretty! I don’t have an apron, don’t know why I haven’t used one because I sure make enough of a mess to demand one! Thank you so much for the chance to win. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi, Martha. Your apron is beautiful. If it came to my home, I think maybe it would hang on a wall as decoration instead of on me! (I’m a very messy cook and I wouldn’t want to spoil it.)

Seriously? That is so adorable Martha! My niece asked me to make her an apron a couple of days before Christmas! Crazy girl. I gave her one of mine instead. I’d love this one to replace the one I gave away.

That is the most stunning apron! As I’m a plus size it might not fit so don’t put my name in the draw, just let me admire it and wish everyone good luck. I am an apron wearer and would be pleased if you did publish the pattern too – I could enlarge it to fit ๐Ÿ™‚

Absolutely love what you do with vintage textiles. I have a number of tablecloths from my grandmother that are torn or stained and can no longer be used on the table. What a wonderful way to bring them back to life!
