Hand Embroidered Wedding Napkins

Posted on July 21, 2011 by Martha

I have no idea what’s going on in blogland these days, but here at the Gray home, it’s all about napkins.  Trimming, hemming, pressing, and tying 130+ napkins with a little gold bow.  Although I have 2 weeks until the shower and 6 weeks until the wedding, there is still so much to do.  I will pop in whenever I have something new to show besides more boring napkins.  And now, it’s back to you-know-what.

They are LOVELY! You know, the royals had hundreds of staff preparing for their affair, but I think you’ll be pulling off a marvel more grand! You are a machine!

p.s. Did you use a hemming foot on your napkins? I am trying to master mine with very spotty success.

I was wondering how things were going, thanks for checking in. Blogland can wait until all this is done with; you are doing more important work…making wonderful memories for you, your daughter and family!
I know she is going to appreciate all the time and love you have put into all these projects! You are a great mama, Martha!
    Hugs,
    Mickie

Martha, I’m amazed at your patience. Hand embroidery does take so much time and patience. I’m totally blown away thinking about those 130 napkins you worked on! So elegant and beautiful!

Oh my! Everyone is getting a hand embroidered napkin? I think I would have only done the wedding party’s table?
    You are amazing! 🙂
