This is the perfect Pacific Northwest item for the letter U. This one went lots faster, so maybe I will be able to post a block every other day if I continue to trade off between the easier and more complex drawings. This weekend I am going to lay out some of my vintage triangles to see if I come up with a pieced sashing pattern. Next….J is for jack-in-the-box.
I love the ‘rainy’ colors in this one! Your French knots are really nice!
I look at these blocks and think they are just lovely and that I really should try my hand. But I look closer and see just how really talented you are! I had best stick to that which I do, and there is plenty of that.
PS I don’t bike to work EVERYDAY!
I love the blue and green thread in this one! Very pretty. Also quite liked the nurse and the thread you used for her. I should probably take a page from your book and stitch more often! Always love to see your work. xoxo
Your work is absolutely beautiful! I loved looking at all the alphabet letters you have finished, and I really like all the threads you use… with their different colors, and how well they seem to fit the object. You’ve really inspired me to try and improve my stitching!
