The houses are lit up.

The stockings are hung.

Presents are bought and made, but not wrapped yet.

Emily and I are spending the whole day baking cookies.

It’s all so cozy and festive! Love the lights on your tree! Are they like the old fashioned lights with bulbs as big as night light bulbs? And your little village looks so busy with its inhabitants out and about in the snow. Do you have hooks for your stockings on the mantel or do you use the 3M variety of hook? I made some, but have never hung them. We always lay them out the night before. Neat nutcracker collection!
    Have fun baking!

The decorations are so warm and beautiful! And the houses are looking very pretty all decked up for the holidays 🙂

Your tree is beautiful! I love the vintage (or vintage looking?) ornaments!
I have never had a baking tradition with my girl. Before the past three holidays, my work was always crazy long days up through xmas eve (sometimes working until midnight), but it worked out because she spent xmas eve with her dad and his family, and she and her grandma baked xmas cookies every year. Now, her work is crazy up through xmas week, so she hasn’t been able to come visit until after the new year. I hope next year will be different. She and her guy are moving to NYC next week to start a new adventure, so we will see how that might allow ‘revised’ traditions!

Wow, everything looks great!! These photos are so cozy, I can almost imagine myself snuggling by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate. What kind of cookies are you ladies making? Inquiring minds must know! 😉

    Merry Christmas! xoxo
